Acceptable Use
Use OffMyPlate for lawful, personal meal planning. Automated scraping, abuse, or reverse engineering is prohibited.
Food & Allergen Safety
Recipes and plans are informational. You remain solely responsible for allergen checks and safe food preparation.
Account Autonomy
You can cancel your subscription, export grocery lists, and request complete account data deletion at any time.
1.Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "you", or "your") and OffMyPlate ("OffMyPlate", "we", "our", or "us") governing your access to and use of the OffMyPlate web application (including offmyplate.app, offmyplate.pages.dev, and any affiliated domains, APIs, or mobile experiences).
By accessing, browsing, creating an account, or generating meal plans on OffMyPlate, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use our services.
2.Eligibility & Account Registration
You must be at least 13 years of age (or the minimum legal age required in your jurisdiction) to use OffMyPlate. By using our service, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.
You may authenticate with OffMyPlate using Google OAuth 2.0 or explore features via our demo account. When authenticating, you agree to:
- Maintain the confidentiality and security of your login credentials and connected Google Account.
- Promptly notify us if you discover or suspect unauthorized access to your account.
- Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your authenticated session.

Not Medical or Nutritional Advice: OffMyPlate provides automated meal schedules, algorithmic recipe recommendations, portion math calculations, and consolidated grocery lists for informational and culinary convenience purposes only. OffMyPlate does NOT provide medical advice, clinical dietary therapy, or diagnosis of food allergies or intolerances.
Mandatory Ingredient Verification: While our planner filters recipes based on your allergen and dietary inputs, you acknowledge that ingredient formulations, retailer packaging, brand substitutions, and cross-contamination warnings vary continuously. You are solely responsible for inspecting all food packaging labels, ingredient declarations, and manufacturing alerts prior to purchasing, preparing, or consuming any ingredient.
Safe Food Handling: You are responsible for ensuring adequate refrigeration, hygiene, and safe internal cooking temperatures (especially for poultry, seafood, meats, and eggs) according to USDA or local public health guidelines. OffMyPlate disclaims all liability for adverse reactions, foodborne illness, or allergic reactions resulting from recipes or meal suggestions.
3.Acceptable Use Policy
You agree to use OffMyPlate only for lawful purposes in accordance with these Terms. You specifically agree NOT to:
- Use any robot, spider, crawler, scraper, or automated system to harvest data, recipes, or user information without prior written permission.
- Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of our Cloudflare edge infrastructure, D1 databases, or authentication endpoints.
- Circumvent, disable, or tamper with rate limits, subscription paywalls, or token validation logic.
- Transmit or introduce viruses, trojans, worms, logic bombs, or other malicious payloads.
- Impersonate any person or entity, or falsely state or misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity.
- Use the service to engage in any activity that violates applicable local, state, national, or international laws.
4.Subscriptions, Billing & Cancellation
OffMyPlate offers both free and premium subscription tiers ("Pro Chef" or "Family Unlimited").
Payment Processing: All subscription payments, card information, and invoices are handled securely by our third-party payment processor, Stripe, Inc. We do not store raw credit card numbers on our servers.
Automatic Renewal: Paid subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle (monthly or annually) unless cancelled before the renewal date.
Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time via your account settings. Upon cancellation, you will retain access to your premium features until the end of the current paid billing period.
Refunds: Except where required by applicable consumer law, paid subscription fees are non-refundable for partial billing periods.
5.Service Availability & Modifications
We strive to provide continuous, high-performance availability powered by Cloudflare edge computing. However, we do not guarantee that the service will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from latency.
We reserve the right to modify, update, suspend, or discontinue any feature, recipe collection, or portion of the service at any time with or without notice. We will not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuance of the service.
6.Third-Party Links & Integrations
OffMyPlate may provide export links or integrations to third-party grocery delivery providers (such as Instacart or Amazon Fresh) and external websites. These links are provided solely for convenience. OffMyPlate does not control, endorse, or assume responsibility for the content, pricing, stock availability, fulfillment, or privacy practices of any third-party websites or services.
7.Intellectual Property Rights
All rights, titles, and interests in and to OffMyPlate—including our brand name, logo, website layout, algorithms, database designs, code, and visual graphics—are and will remain the exclusive property of OffMyPlate and its licensors.
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, OffMyPlate grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the platform for your personal, non-commercial culinary planning.
8.Account Termination & Suspension
Termination by You: You may terminate your account at any time by ceasing use of the platform and submitting a deletion request to support@offmyplateapp.com or offmyplate1@gmail.com.
Termination by Us: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to OffMyPlate immediately, without prior notice or liability, if you violate any provision of these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, abuse API endpoints, or conduct yourself in a manner detrimental to other users or our infrastructure.
9.Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability
The service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall OffMyPlate, its affiliates, directors, employees, or licensors be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages—including loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or culinary ingredients—arising out of or in connection with your access to or use of the service.
10.Governing Law & Changes to Terms
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
We may revise these Terms from time to time. If a revision is material, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued access or use of OffMyPlate after revisions become effective constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
